Since the end of March until today, I’ve been traveling: four different European countries with leaders from four different multi-nationals, each focused on a different agenda: unifying the leadership team, growing cross-collaboration, elevating executive impact, cultivating a culture of effective feedback — all crucial executive functions.
I was with leaders from literally all over the globe who represent decades of leadership expertise. These are very privileged environments to be invited into. Sacred, in fact.
They confirmed for me again that the ultimate success of a leader will not rest on his or her strategic imperatives, or the structure of their operating model, or how well they communicate their goals and objectives. It won’t be because of what they know about various leadership models and frameworks. Their ultimate success will rely on the caliber of their relationships
Because ultimately, that’s what it’s all about: the caliber of relationships.
